Cromwell’s Harvest Hotel is Central Otago’s gateway accommodation where the French doors of each of our 47 standard and premium rooms open on to breath-taking mountain, vineyard and rural views.

The three two-storey wings of Harvest Hotel are in the grounds of The Gate hospitality and tourist centre alongside Highway 8B and just down the road from Cromwell’s famous 13 metre ‘Big Fruit’ sculpture that celebrates the importance of fruit growing to Central Otago.

As well as being able to enjoy our beautifully planted courtyard bounded by the three accommodation wings and stand-alone conference/wedding centre, The Gate provides guests at Harvest Hotel with something very special, the Village Green.

Here landscaping and planting have created a wonderful space where besides such luxuries as bean bags, a number of white-painted pergolas with timber shade fins and low concrete walls there are a variety of seating and gathering areas, including a children’s play zone.

Guest services include reception from 6am until 10.30pm after which night staff are on duty. A laundry, complimentary Wi-Fi and multi-channel television reception are among a number of desirable amenities available to our guests.

The Gate complex also includes an  ATM machine, gaming machines and Super Liquor outlet.
